Why it keeps not working
Most programmes are built for a woman who doesn't exist. No school run. No 7am meeting. No bedtime battle, no late finish, no glass of wine on a Friday because you've earned it. You don't live that life. Nobody does.
So you follow the plan for a fortnight, real life turns up, you fall behind, and you decide you're the problem. You're not. The plan was never built for the life you've actually got.
And every time it fails, it costs you a bit more. More confidence. More energy. More belief that it'll ever be different. That's the bit that has to stop.

Who I am
I played rugby for years. Got fit, got strong, trained hard. Then life got busy — a career, kids, a mortgage — and for a bit, fitness became something that happened around my life rather than being part of it. I know exactly what that drift feels like.
What pulled me back wasn't a programme. It was a decision. I wanted to be the kind of dad my boys could look up to, and the kind of coach who actually practices what he preaches. So I got back to training properly, built a gym in my back garden from nothing, and made strength and health a non-negotiable part of my life again.
I believe the people who build this properly live better, longer, and with more energy for everything that actually matters. That's the bit most programmes miss — they chase a quick result and ignore the life you've actually got to fit it into.
That's why I coach the way I do. I understand the gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it when work, family, and a full week won't stop getting in the way. The Empowered Shape Method is built around your real life — so the strength, the confidence, and the results are still there long after the 12 weeks are done.
The person behind the coaching
I've been through my own transformation. I train around two boys, a wife, a business, and a mortgage. I drag the family up mountains and turn up to Tough Mudder when it's pouring. Health isn't something I perform online — it's how I choose to live. That's what makes the difference when I coach the women I work with. I'm not guessing. I know exactly what it takes to build this into a real life, because I do it every day.
