Who I am

I don't just coach this.
I live it.

I played rugby for years. Got fit, got strong, trained hard. Then life got busy — a career, kids, a mortgage — and for a bit, fitness became something that happened around my life rather than being part of it. I know exactly what that drift feels like.

What pulled me back wasn't a programme. It was a decision. I wanted to be the kind of dad Jack and Billy could look up to. The kind of man who actually practices what he talks about. So I started training properly again, signed up for Hyrox, climbed mountains with my boys, ran through colour powder with the whole family, and built a gym in my back garden from nothing.

Not for content. Not to look good online. Because I genuinely love this lifestyle — and I believe the people who build it properly live better, longer, and with more energy for everything that actually matters.

I coach women because I understand the gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it when real life won't stop getting in the way. The Empowered Shape Method isn't built on what works in theory. It's built on what works when you've got a full week, a full house, and still want to show up for yourself.

The person behind the coaching

I've been through my own transformation. I train around two boys, a wife, a business, and a mortgage. I drag the family up mountains and turn up to Tough Mudder when it's pouring. Health isn't something I perform online — it's how I choose to live. That's what makes the difference when I coach the women I work with. I'm not guessing. I know exactly what it takes to build this into a real life, because I do it every day.
